Model TEM I
For determination the residual moisture content of yam bobbins, fabric rolls, filaments, fiber flocks etc.
Special features:
- Easy to use for many applications
- Multiple scale for direct readings for wool, rayon and cotton,
and 0 - 100 scale for comparison tables used for other materials
- Portable, battery-operated
- Compact housing supplied in leather carrying case
Measuring principle:
The moisture content is determined
by measuring the electrical conductivity of the material which always is proportional to the content of moisture.
Various interchangeable electrodes are available
for use in a wide variety of applications:
- 205: Needle electrode for yarns in cops, cross-wound bobbins and hanks (needle length . .25 mm)
- 207: same as 20$ but with needle length 100mm
- 209: Stab electrode for textiles in sorts and rolls (needle length 125 mm)
- 210: Knife electrode for fabric rolls (knife length 110mm)
- 211: Roller electrode for running webs of fabric (roller 27mm)
- 212: Continuous run electrode for yarn hanks and single filaments (taller 16mm)
- 213: Surface electrode tor fabrics (surface 23mm)
- 299: Electrode for calibration
